Successful Examination Results at Mar Azul International School
Mar Azul International School was proudly celebrating this weekend after a double helping of success. Not only did their first set of A level results exceed all expectations but Year 11 students were celebrating in style having beaten the national average for IGCSE results which were published on 25th August 2011.
Students and teachers arrived early at the school gates anxious to see their long awaited results but they needn’t have worried as every student passed all of their subjects with a huge majority receiving the coveted A-C grades. It was an emotional day for everyone and students had certainly earned the right to celebrate.
These fantastic exam results are even more exceptional when you take into account the school’s philosophy to accept students of all abilities and backgrounds. Mar Azul International School believes in keeping class sizes small and working with students regardless of their academic capabilities to ensure that they achieve to their full potential. The exam results are a testimony to the success of this approach and that setting realistic goals and celebrating individual success achieves excellent grades.
In addition to a wonderful set of exam results, the school has also received excellent BTEC grades with every single student passing with the equivalent of A-C passes. Being able to mix vocational subjects such as BTECs with more conventional options like IGCSEs gives students the broadest possible range of opportunities regardless of whether they wish to go on to study or step into a career.
It is thanks largely to the efforts of a dedicated and committed staff team that Mar Azul International School is able to pull a rabbit out of the hat year on year with this being the forth year of successful IGCSEs. It is not too late to register students into school or college. For further information or an appointment, call 965 720 785 or click here to go straight to our contact us page.
