Nursery Sessions

As you can see from our nursery timetable, the children are stimulated through a variety of activities. Sufficient opportunities are provided for them to both learn and play and to take time out to relax. Activities are planned to take into account children’s changing energy levels throughout the day and include:

  • Themed projects including discussion based on science, environment, culture and community.
  • Music, singing and dancing.
  • Role play and dressing up.
  • Stories and poetry.
  • Messy play; sand and water; dough and clay.
  • Arts and crafts.
  • Language and literacy.
  • Numeracy and problem solving.
  • Construction toys and building blocks.
  • ICT.
  • Physical play, including climbing, balancing, catching.
  • Outdoor activities.
  • Small world play.
  • Early Spanish for children.
  • 'Karma Kids' - teaching listening and relaxation.
