Welcome to Mar Azul International School |
|
Thank you for taking the time to look on our school Website. Making decisions concerning your child's education is probably one of the hardest things a parent has to do, and we hope to be able to make that decision easier by providing you with the time and information to make an informed decision.
As an International school open since 2001 we feel well equipped and sensitive to deal with each individual student. We have a strong staff team, dedicated to your child's education, supported by our sectional specialised staff, including drama, music and PE teachers along with special needs teachers. Mar Azul provides your children with the British National Curriculum, supplemented with a minimum 20% Spanish daily. We are proud to provide the following departments:
Bilingual Nursery 1-3 yrs Bilingual pre-school 3-4 yrs Primary 5-11 yrs Secondary 11-16 yrs IGCSE with Edexcel A' levels and BTEC courses starting Oct 2008
We believe an International education is a positive asset to young people in a modern world. Pupils at Mar Azul International School gain so much more than just the formal curriculum, they have a broader perspective on the world as a result of being in a foreign country and through their interaction with the many nationalities that are commonly represented at the school. This awareness serves pupils well as they prepare for adult life. Our schools secondary department should help equip pupils with the appropriate skills and attitudes to be effective as adults in an increasingly competitive and demanding global society. |
